|I-8.||INTRODUCE an ordinance (first reading) amending Richmond Municipal Code Section 2.50 (Business Opportunity Ordinance) to extend the expiration date to December 31, 2020 – Employment and Training Department (Sal Vaca 307-8006).|
Added a small business incentive component to City of Richmond Projects. This extends the expiration date of the ordinance.
|I-9.||ADOPT an ordinance (second reading) adjusting and setting the fees as outlined in the proposed Richmond Fire Department Prevention Services Division Fee Schedule – Fire Department (Chief Adrian Sheppard 307-8161).|
“The proposed Fee Schedule adjusts user fees by the Employment Cost Index (ECI), based on an inflation factor of 1.02445%. Many of the fees increased in July 2016.
The amounts reflected in the proposed Fee Schedule were adjusted in an effort to more accurately collect at a rate commensurate with the City’s costs in providing services.
An analysis was performed by taking evaluating the number of hours and related expenses required to complete each service. ” See two attachments.
